About Holly Hutton & Heather Wood Buzzard:
Holly Hutton RH (AHG) is a clinical herbalist with a private practice in Bend, Oregon. Holly received an East-West Clinical Herbalist certificate from the East-West School of Planetary Herbalism, studying with Michael and Lesley Tierra and mentoring with Karta Purkh Singh Khalsa. Holly previously worked with the East-West School of Planetary Herbology and works for the Herbal Academy. Additionally, she operates a small herbal products company, grows and sells medicinal plants, and teaches locally through Central Oregon Community College. She served on the American Herbal Guild Council for several terms and is still on the DEI advisory committee. In 2023, she was appointed to the AHG admissions committee and most recently became the AHG Admissions Coordinator.

Heather Wood Buzzard, MA, is a writer, wildcrafter, and herbalist who completed clinical training at the Appalachian Center for Natural Health with Phyllis Light, while earning her MA in Writing and Narrative Medicine from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She writes and consults for herbal organizations like Red Moon Herbs and the American Herbalists Guild and contributes to publications such as Paleo Magazine. Heather is working on books about wildcrafting and narrative herbal medicine, blending integrative health, folk herbalism, and creative writing.
